Tineasis & Candidiasis (Fungal Infections):
Tineasis & Candidiasis is an important subject for the Skin VD Course. Tineasis is a disease caused by the Tinea fungus and candidiasis is caused by the candida fungus. Common Tineasis are Tinea pedis, Tinea cruris, Tinea corporis, Tinea facie, Tinea capitis, Tinea versicolor, Tinea unguium, etc and Common candidiasis are Oral candida and Vaginal candidiasis.The study of tineasis and candidiasis is the main focus of this subject. Antifungal drugs are used to treat these fungal infections. Common antifungal drugs are Fluconazole, Ketoconazole, Itraconazole, Clotrimazole, Econazole, Miconazole, Grysofulvin, Terbinafine, and Voriconazole, etc.
